Gail Anderson
Born in the Bronx in 1962, Gail Anderson is a designer, writer, and educator whose work spans four decades across publishing, advertising, typography, and theatre. She is known for her 15 years at Rolling Stone magazine, where she rose from junior designer to art director during the publication’s golden era, and for designing a U.S. postage stamp that sold more than 50 million copies.
